where to get a beanbag made?

    Need large beanbag urgently.

Going to go to Capel St for the beans but where would be the best place to get the fabric and zip, and get it all put together without using my frigid fumbling fingers?
My sewing disabilities leave nothing to be desired.

Would it be advisable to have two layers in the beanbag to reduce leakages of comfort giving beans??

Sitting very uncomfortably on a chair as I write and need the situation rectified on the cheap.

    Thanking you,

    C.A

    Hi craicaddict,
I might be able to help you or at least save you some money. I made a giant bean bag when we first moved into our new apartment and it cost me €50 in beans alone. Luckily I got the quilted fabric for nothing from a designer clear out. I went through two spools of thread sewing the thing up. they cost around €3 each. Total €56. You won't make it cheaper than that. I noticed that this place on capel st was selling medium sized beanbags for €50.
Buddabag or somthg is a shop on the millinium walk way near the italian quarter if you fancie a really nice albeit expensive one. I'd consider looking on ikea website or Jumbletown.ie may have someone trying to get rid of theirs if you want one for free.
So if you still want a big bean bag, be prepared to pay that much. And yes its worth having a lining as the cover needs a wash every so often it is on the floor mostly!! Hope this was some use to you!:)
