    Hey,

I presume you are talking about the hours for DCU science. Well there are about 27-28 hours a week of lectures and labs a week in all of the 4 years. Typically 9 hours of labs and the rest in lectures and tutorials. It's a busy course, but quite manageable. What is nice about the lecturing staff, is that they are very approachable and that we rarely address them formally (first name basis). I hope you enjoy it and you can PM if you would like any more details :)

I have nothing to add to that except that DCU Science is genuinely FANTASTIC.

    Just had to be said.

the computing you will learn throughout a science degree involves a lot more than sending emails, microsoft word and bebo, and in DCU attendance to such classes is nearly always compulsory.

I just did a Pre-Nursing course at this college and the year before did the applied social studies...both these courses are very simular and have the same assignments...I had to do EVERYTHING again my second time round. C.D take no prisoners and expect full attendance and because there is major competition in class for places in Uni's such as DCU full attendance is taken into account at the end of the year when tutors decide who deserves to go! PLUS most course are only 4 days a week with one day off and the other days generally 9-4/5pm
