    im going away for two weeks and seen on the welfare.ie website that you're entitled to 12 working days per year of the welfare,but im just wondering since the new budget are these benefits cut out.also im heading on the 30th of this month so will they be able to get it ready in time b4 i go if they aree still doing this?

    You will still be paid for your holiday time. But you need to fill out a form to let them know you're going. Don't just head off.

    You need to go into your local office the day before you go on holiday, tell them you are going and sign a form. Then the day after you come back you go in again to sign back on. Your payment for the 2 weeks will then be issued for you.

    You will not be eligble for it if you go in day before your trip, according to poster's in finglas office you must apply 2 weeks before your trip. Enjoy the queues.. and trip.
