    Hey Guys,

Just a couple of quick questions - I plan on getting the new iphone ASAP (friday if stock levels are as good as i hope). I just have a couple of questions you might be able to help me with.

    - I am on 3 billpay but out of contract so was wondering do i need to contact 3 at all before i switch over?
    - What do i need to bring with me when purchasing iphone? I hear i need to bring last bill but i get ebills so will a printout do?
    - I use my phone for work quite alot so will i be without a working phone for any length? i cant do without it for too long so just wondering how long until new phone starts working with my normal number.

Any help here lads much appreciated!

If other operators are anything to go by you have to give a months notice when your out of contract on bill pay, just to include the current billing period.

A print out should be fine but don't quote me. I think you need photo id as well.

The iphone 3gs is released next friday, but I would take in all your documentation in a few days before it is released just to ensure your contract is up and running and you are guarenteed a phone ;)

Their sign up process could have some serious delays if alot of people are trying to sign up on the friday and the last thing you would want is to have to wait to use the damn thing.

You don't need to give notice, as you pay your bill in advance so you'll lose out on that.

You need your last 3 bill and a proof of ID (Driving License, Passport and I think O2 take Age Cards too). You'll also need direct debit details as O2 require a DD for the iPhone.
