Anyone got any tips on reducing the chance of being scammed when buying e-tickets privately? Buying tix for Neil Young concert tomorrow night from a gumtree add, and obviously don't want to arrive to find that 20 copies were sold. I suppose to get the persons address from drivers license or equivalent would be a start. Any other ideas?

For gumtree try pick up from their house or pay into their bank account then you have their personal details at least. For eBay look at their feedback.

Make sure its the person selling the tickets that has their name on them as then if there was a problem it could be traced back to them through these unless they have bought from someone else.
