    great try by france there

One of the best tries I've seen in a while by Heymans.

51mins gone, and France are holding the AB's out on the try line, great defence.

I'm up (somehow) so watching. Good bit of rain there.

Ahh, bad call by ref. I don't like the "can't throw it out of play" rule anyway.

Fecker got it, great kick in the conditions - NZ 11 France 7

Metard has kicked away a serious amount of posesion for France.

    NZ 14 - 10 FRA

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,414 ✭✭✭✭Trojan

6 mins left. France don't look strong enough to take it. Lot of kick and chase at the moment. NZ lineout on halfway.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,414 ✭✭✭✭Trojan

Still 14-10, 3 mins left. NZ in possession at the 1/2way (again) :)

update: NZ just miss out on a kick ahead try - the bounce was too high for Rokokokokoko

    Game over. 14 - 10 it ends.

    Good game considering the conditions.

Thought it was a pretty awful game, riddled with errors from both sides and the officials. NZ should have won it by about 20 only for big Joe's shocking butchering of several tries.

On a side note I think Nonu got away with a bad one on Medard in the first half. Was late, high, no arms and he lead with his head into the Medard's face. It wasn't particularly vicious luckily or could have been very dangerous. What was a little annoying about this is that it happened in the in goal area, so as far as I know the referee could have asked the TMO to take a look at the incident. (He spoke to the touch judge before awarding a penalty) Should have been at least a yellow card and possibly a red, in either case Nonu would not have been on the pitch to score his try.

    It was Heymans no?

Side note: Can the kiwi commentators please learn the players names? They kept confusing Clerc and Heymans and only twigged it when Heymans went over for his try

What? Nonu got away, yet again, with one of his trademark hatchet job clothes-hangars? I simply won't believe it!!!

Could have been Jabba - was very early in the morning, and I was watching in bed was basing it on the full back positioning.

Kiwi Commentators are an absolute joke - I can't really comment on mistakes with player's names considering the above, but aside from this, and their world class one eyedness, it's clear that a lot of the time they're too busy talking/listening to eachother to actually watch the game.

He did, incredible isn't it, a twinge of irony hit me, considering he stepped into the place of a certain T. Umaga and what else is happening today.

BOD would smash Nonu. What a cowardly act again.

As always the NZ commentators conviently miss it.

If its dangerous play by the AB's the commentators will say "Well hes making a meal of that this is a game for men"

If its by the French "I dunno how he is still on the field, the referee and touch judge have made a howler"

Harsh Peno on the AB's "Noway... shocking decision by the referee can't believe he gave that, the crowd don't like it and rightly so"

Harsh peno on the French (during the replay) "hahoho how was your day smithy?...Oh eh All blacks a little fortunate there"

Good match though shame about the conditions.
