    i heard about one coming up the shannon a few years ago, they get them in the uk, so why not here. would love to surf one.

    I heard that there is one somewhere near Clifden. Some kayakers go on it.

    The tides in the UK are about 2-3 times bigger than the tides here. So that would mean more tidal bores there.
    I dont know why their tides are so big compared to here, it must be because we are further out into the atlantic ocean so the tides arent as amplified?
