Looked up the website for this and the tickets seem very reasonably priced for the weekend. Think it's about e30 or thereabouts. I might go next year. Has anybody gone in the past? Would you recommend it?

    Thanks...

The view of the display is much more restricted at Le Bourget compared to the Farnborough airshow with ,vulcans ,migs,F-16's and A380 screaming past not more than 60-70m max away from the public area on the grass alongside the Farnborough runway . Im not sure wheather it had to do with it being a trade day on my previous visit or what, but unless you were in one of the business chalets the views at L Bourget werent great.

The show is every 2nd year so I'd definetly say plan for Farnborough next year. While Paris is pretty good and access to the show was all very well run,Farnborough is more public friendly I felt. Both shows have similarly sized trade stands if thats more of what your looking for.

I was pleasantly surprised whilst travelling in from CDG on Monday to see an A380 doing a bit of a demo flight. Looked well. Pity I couldn't stop the RER to have a better look.

I was there on Thursday. The A380 had a demo flight also and I was surprised to see how agile and almost silent it was. The distance from the runway was a bit too far but the rest of the show was interesting.
The Eurofighter F16 and UAV display were also very nice.

I have posted some pics on the aviation pics thread.
