..wondering, just out of curiousity, have couriers been hit as badly as the rest of us jobswise? are there still jobs out there?

I would be surprised if there was the same amount of demand for their service as there previously was. However, I always get the impression that being a cycle courier is more than just a job to them!

I know a lot of businesses have instructed staff to try and cut back on courier bills. So I imagine they are feeling the pinch like the rest of us.

Not a huge amount of jobs out there, and the money's getting tight too. Bad times to be on the road for sure!

My Dad uses couriers regularly during the day and has noticed the response times greatly improve over the past few months. Used to take a few hours before they would arrive after calling them, now they are getting there within an hour or so most of the time. Points to them having less work to do.
