File/Folder Predicament

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone can help, I have a folder full of other (sub)folders.. and within each of them folders there is one or two files, all of which I need to compile into ONE folder of files.

Opening each sub-folder and moving the files within to a new folder is taking so long, is there anyway to remove multiple files from multiple folders simultaneously?

I'm sorry if I have explained this arse-ways, lets say all of my files were in alphabetical folders and I wanted to move them all to one folder, together.

    Yeah. :(

Using windows explorer, you could right click on the file and 'send to' desktop. (it just copies it) It takes seconds.
You can also highlight more than one file, by pressing shift and the arrow key.
    then right click send to

Once they're all on your desktop highlight them all and copy / or cut to a folder of your choice.

I don't think I explained it properly. There is hundreds of folders, each with one or two files inside.

I need to somehow make the folders go away, but leave the files all together. The files are compartmentalised by sub-folders. I want them to be all willy-nilly together on one main folder.

Select the root directory of this structure... hit F3 to start a search... search for all files using * ... when the search is complete... select all the files found by the search and drag them into one folder within another explorer window.
    Should do it I fink

Cool, cheers. I had to do it manually in the meantime, but I'll have to do it again soon enough, I'll try that out.
