Why spend big money on an iphone and then use cheap headphones. Buy a decent set and look after them.

Its like buying a sports car and putting remold tyres on it:P

Cos listening to music isn't the main thing I use it for.

    Nontheless, any reccommendations?

Without delving into my anatomy too much, the S9 don't suit my ears. I'm more of an 'over-the-ear' type of man. I'm currently using a pair of Sony MDR-V300 and rather like them.

I too am looking to go Bluetooth now that my Touch has OS3 and was thinking at the Motorola s805. Anyone used these?

I have a pair of Motorola HT820, which perform brilliantly but I'm gonna flog them because again, the ear thing...

The S9 is good for sound, but damn if half an hour I have to take then out for a minute or two as they kill my ears.

    anyone got any further ideas?
I'm looking for a headset with, removable headphones, music controls, and a screen displaying caller ID and track/artist/ names.

I like the idea of the sony ericsson dbh-ds205 here:

but it doesn't have the display.

The HBH-DS980 has a display but I can't find confirmation that it works with the iphone and it's headphones
    don't appear to be removable

Anyone got something like the first one above, except with a display?

    I have these ones:

    http://www.argos.ie/static/Product/partNumber/5349175/c_1/1|category_root|Home+entertainment+and+sat+nav|12160455/c_2/2|cat_12160455|Headphones+and+earphones|12160637/c_3/3|cat_12160637|On-ear+headphones|12160644.htm

I used to use them with my iPod classic and they work quite well, no problems with the sound. I started to use them with my iPod touch recently and they work well enough, however I think some of the on ear controls don't work with the iPod touch. Also I recently upgraded my iPod touch to OS 3 and didn't use the dongle supplied. It works but I have to be honest, it's not that good. It doesn't seem to sound as good, plus it keeps cutting out during songs. I also found it awkward and usually have to make a few attempts to get it to connect to the headphones.

I don't really have this problem if I use the dongle supplied. But me being a nerd, I wanted to use the built in bluetooth :)
