Hi, i missed an exam there a month back, i got the time mixed up, thought it was half 2 when it was half 9...

Ive emailed my lecturer who has passed the buck on to the exams office who have said it will have to be put down as a fail, so i will have to pay up to €400 for a repeat?

My lecturer is uninterested... What to do from here?

€400 for a repeat? i doubt its that much OP - €50-100 euro per subject maybe.

I'd imagine your just gonna have to sit the paper in the repeats...

It should be €200 for a repeat (not sure if it's this much per subject, however, but that would be excessive to say the least!). Need to pay this before Monday, 6 July according to the information I got when checking online today. The link on the actual website didn't appear to be working earlier.

Youre gonna be paying 200 euro to them, whether you failed one, or them all.

It's the repeat exam for you buddy. Tough luck, its a horrible thing to happen, but theyre really intolerant of that kind of thing.

depends on the lecturer, if they are willing to put out their neck for the student or not. Happened to a classmate of mine once and the lecturer being the nice lady she was gave him the backup paper. no problems with the exams office afaik.

sorry to hear they weren't more accommodating, but hey, could be worse. you could have 4 or 5 to repeat like some :)
