Does anyone know where you can get sheets of foam material for lining a case or a bag.

    Something like this stuff: DR_FOAM_SHEETS_450w.jpg

Thanks for that Fallschirmjager. I've seen it in a plastic pistol case and it was ideal for holding a pistol and mags in place, so looking for a bigger size for a bag and case. If anyone has used anything else that works well don't be afraid to reply :D

You were close Falls, I bought a case with a pre-scored foam insert from Maplins and ripped it to facilitate my MP7.

If you want really plush, there's these guys:
    www.flightcase.ie
Darius House, 12a Idrone Terrace, Blackrock, Co. Dublin - +353 1 288 9205 but they arent cheap, Storm Cases are the top of the range, you can drive an APC over some of them. Dunno if they sell foam.

I beleive NakedDex has made up some custom cases for airsoft/work before, also, Kdouglas made a lovely storage system that I think had custom foam inserts.

    Hope this helps,
    Lethal.

Hey cdb, theres an upholstery shop on caple street. They can cut the foam to whatever size you want. And you can get it in varying sizes and thicknesses.

Those Storm cases look fantastic & would last you a lifetime: http://www.allmono.com/sc/iM3200/iM3200-D-XL.jpg How cool is that. They are a bit steep but you'd certainly get what you pay for with them. That four-layered foam interior with the padded top is exactly what I'm after. Now where did I put that scalpel... :D

Nice one Dread-Lock. I never thought of an upholstery shop. I'll look them up. Thanks a lot.

Thanks Masada. If anyone else is interested Zhivagos have a range of foam products available:

They have a new warehouse and showrooms at Northern Cross Business Park, just off the M50 at Finglas.
