Computer systems management

    I'm a leaving cert student just finished the exams and was thinking about changing my mind on the cao and applying for computer systems management in carlow it. Is anybody on here currently in this course because i can't really find any info about it anywhere but need to pretty quickly because the closing date is july 1st any help would be appreciated thanks again.

    Don't worry am here to help. If you are doing any computing corse in first year, they are all common apart from the games course.

    Towards the end of the year they will ask what you want to specialise in e.g. Networking, Programming or Applications. I entered through Systems Management but I am going to software development in Second year. I found networking rediculously hard but programming very very easy.

    Its a good course (I finished it a few years back) and in reality there are more jobs in IT than most other professions out there.
