Thinking of going up this weekend but will be looking for a secure place to park, Dose anyone know of a compound that would be open 24/7? High roof van so would need clearance or an open place,

You're not exactly heading to the wild west! There are lots of carparks up there as in Dublin. Castlecourt is one that I use and is very central. I've parked on the city centre streets up there many times in a D reg with no issues.

Castlecourt wouldn't fit a high roof van though!

The city centre streets are entirely safe to park on in a southern reg car these days, just avoid any with blue and white kerbing. I don't think there are any reputable ground level parking compounds there (actually, are ANY of those surface pay parking areas reputable) so its a case of if the van will fit in to a multistorey; or park on the street.

Days Hotel car park is 24hr and open plan. Their security patrol it.
