    cant wait for my first beginners surfing lesson next week, really looking forward to it.

    is there anything i should do to make sure im as ready as i can be for the lesson?

    practise falling down and getting back up again,your going to be doing a lot of that :D, hope its not this weekend the lesson is cos its not looking promising,wave wise. anyway good luck with it and have fun

    Start doing press-ups, not necessarily for your first lesson but in the long run would/could/should make it easier for you when popping up. At least I have found them helpful.:D
