Got sky in today, after they had installed it they said it would take a few hours before the sky+ would work. They said to contact them in a few hours if it still wasnt working, anyway i did end up contacting them and they said it would be looked into. My question is there something i could do myself without having to have the installers back down to the house again.
When i try to record or pause i get the "Recording is not available, call this number to upgrade your subscription".
Anyone happen to know if its just a phone call that has to be made or is there some setting that has to be changed on the box, or am i just being impatient:)

Got my sky + installed last night and the same happened. We just left it over night and the sky plus is working perfectly now! Strangely enough though RTE1, 2 and TV3 aren't working yet. Anyone know if they need to be tuned in?

Happy sky viewing, the difference from fuzzy bunny ears is amazing!

Lol yea, having consistantly good tv reception is something that will take alot of getting used to in this house.

Rte 1 and 2, and tv3 worked for us straight away, i think the only channel you have to tune in is UTV, but dont quote me on that because i could and am most probably wrong:D

It is just a phone call. Ring sky and they will switch it on. No need for an engineer to call back.
