Playstation Store

    Hi there,
    Quick question. What is the difference of using the Playstation store for Ireland and using the American one.

    How do you set up an account on the american store..?

    American PS store has more downloads, I use it mostly for demo's thatare out a week early in America (or not released at all in Europe!!)

    Just create a new user account, choose US as your country and get an american post code. I used some Californian hotel post code and address. Then just keep following the onscreen instructions.

    Bit trickier if you are purchasing games. Your credit card needs to match your address. To get around this you can puy PSN vouchers off the internet (amazon, i think) and use these worldwide.

    To setup an account create a new user account on your PS3 and when entering the details on the PSN put in an american address.

    You wont be able to buy from it unless you have an American credit card or purchase PSN cards on ebay or other such place.

    It is handy as the US nearly always gets demos before us

    some demos and games are available long before they are released in europe.

    its ages since i set my american one up, think u need to create new user and then register a new master account. then select ur country as USA. you then need an american address and a correspnding zip code for it. jus google any old place in americas and use that.
