Can a monitor that is powered via USB be bought? I want to connect it to my laptop.

    If so where?

Don't want anything more to plug in.

USB can't supply enough juice to power a monitor.

You can only power items rated less than 2.5W (500mA @ 5V) from a specification USB plug.
