    Hi All

We have just received our first batch of the new Philips NP2900 Internet Radio Network players.

This is a cool little unit that allows you to access 1000's of Radio Stations through the internet (via ethernet cable or Wi-Fi)

You can also access music stored on your computer - and YES it talk's to MAC's as well:)

You can navigate around the menus from the supplied remote plus the NP2900 has a large, easy to read colour display.

Its has a nice meaty sound - certainly isn't tinny sounding, helped by the 4 onboard speakers and 30Watt total power I'd say.

    Connectivity wise:
It has a headphone socket, Aux Line in (2 Phonos) and a Co-Axial Digital Output.

You can wall mount as well if you wish with the supplied wall bracket.

More spec can be found here -
    www.p4c.philips.com/files/n/np2900_12/np2900_12_pss_eng.pdf

This will sell for €249.99 but you can take off your Boardies discount if you like (you don't HAVE too if you dont WANT to!!!!)

    cheers
    Ash
