A coffee make that I can set the timer on and it will have my coffee ready for me in the morning. At the moment Im using a pot that goes on my gas and have to keep an eye on it. I have about maybe €100 to spend on it but the cheaper the better really.

Thanks in advance for any help you may offer.

Ok, I'm also looking for something similar. I would like to get a filter coffee machine that will make maybe 1-3 cups (morning cup and a flask maybe). I was thinking of something along these lines. Would probably use the frother if it was there on the weekend I suppose

If you're looking for something that makes 1-3 cups can I recommend a Chemex. I think everyone on this coffee forum would agree that it makes better coffee than a drip pot. Here's a quick video on it and there's one for sale on adverts.ie here

Not necessarily. It has more flexibility and manual control compared to an auto drip machine, but that is a doube edged sword depending on the user.

If I were buying an auto drip machine, I'd look carefully at the industry leaders, who will deliver proper brewing temps - ie Marco, Bunn, Technivorm, Fetco etc. Many domestic filter brewers fall down in this area.

Sorry I should have added the caveat "....for the money"

I'm sure it makes a fine cup of coffee, but it's a little more work then I want at 6:15 in the morning. :)

    Thanks

Ah well it was worth a try.

On a separate note, regardless of the coffee machine you buy, you should check out hasbean.co.uk for ordering your coffee. You can buy raw, roasted or ground beans and I have to say their coffee and service is exceptional.

Note: I do own the chemex I linked you to earlier but I have no affiliation to hasbean.

Thanks, I ordered the "Has Bean Four Bean Blend" to try.

    I actually ordered that already!
