    Hi Folks,

Does anyone know where I can get Orthodontic Patient wax (wife has braces) in Galway or online?

Good question, your orthodontist will give you some for free if you ask. Anyone know where else to get some?

Hi Josue Lively Raceway. Yeah, she actually got 1 small box from the orthodontist and is running out so I wanted to make sure she had another supply. Ive located some on Ebay but would rather find something in Galway, or if not at least in Ireland!

Will the orthodontist not give you some more for free? Is the orthodontist in Ireland?

I use OrthoSil. Not sure if you can get in in Ireland, tbh, but I think it's worth getting it shipped over because it's much better than regular wax.

I got mine from here - http://www.dentakit.com/dentalwax.html. I got a pack of 10 at the start of my braces and haven't run out yet (16 months in). The people who run the site are former braces wearers, so may be able to put a rush on the shipping if you ask nicely :)

Also available here: http://www.orthostore.co.uk/orthosil-silicone-patient-relief-17-c.asp (UK, but seem to only have individual boxes) or here http://www.orthodontic-supplies.com/orthosil-silicone-443-p.asp (same company, but a bulk ordering site.). I'd be surprised if she goes through 50, tbh.

If you're stuck while waiting for your lovely OrthoSil to arrive (I can't recommend it enough. I used normal dental wax once, and then never again once the orthosil arrived. Feels much less bitty and horrible than wax.) you could try pharmacies, as they often stock it.

I think I saw it available in Boots if that's any help.
