    Hi Guys,

Booked in to do 4 of the 6 QFA module through the LIA in September.

Thing is i haven't received any confirmation email or anything. Just wondering when i can expect to receive the course material and if anyone has any experience dealing with the LIA. What do they send out and when can one expect to get it?

Thanks in advance for the help

I've done 4 of the 6 QFA modules with the LIA. I found them to be mostly fine, make sure you stay on top of them if you haven't got a confirmation.
You may just get the confirmation and course book together, I'm not sure if they have changed this.
They upgraded their website last year so you can see your online registrations etc.
For me, the only thing I didn't like was that the lectures were in UCD sometimes. I preferred them to be in town but hey, can't have everything.
    Best of luck with it

Just keep getting onto the LIA for your books and correspondence and harrass them to send out the books to you. I found them to be a little bit slow to send out correspondence/course literature. For my very first exam I got the book a week before the exam :( which was a little inconvenient but wasnt the end of the world as i was very familiar with the topics covered within the module. I did one exam per term, and found it was easy to manage in this way as they are all multiple choice apart from the Financial Planning module which is written. Very best of luck :)
