    Guys,
Local community council want me to give a bit of course, few hours, to 10 people there on the "buying online thing" :)

We have got broadband installed in our community and since then people have gone mad signing up so this suggestion came up at a meeting and I was asked to give it.

Putting some thoughts into it I came up with the following:

Ebay - the obvious one, how to setup an account, how to bid, how to pay.
    Paypal and methods of payments
    Searching for hotels, holidays etc
    Buying clothes, footwear etc
    Buying cars etc
    Bargain forums, voucher codes

Thats about all I can come up with, anyone anything else they could add to it?
    Thanks

    FRAUD.

Never give credit card or bank details in email
Never click links to bank/payment sites that you receive in email, use your bookmark or type the address
If it looks too good to be true, IT IS, there's no probably.
You get nothing for nothing, even on eBay, especially on eBay
Credit Card charge backs can not be done with all banks, and even the ones that allow it usually apply a limit of about 3 months from when the payment was made to when you initiate the procedure.

Thats good, issues I forgot. Also though that you have more protection when purchasing online that when you buy in a shop (think I heard this somewhere!!)
