    Hi Guys,

I applied for this job which is basically a technical patient role, its abroad. seems interesting and I have the degrees which compliment it.

Its a whole new area for me but with the job market the way is it and being out of work over a year this could be just the thing for me.

I was emailed two documents, 2 patients which are technical and was told to do this from the email.. >

In order to assess your technical writing & analytical skills (clarity, brevity & certainty are essential) we would like you to do the following exercise.

[Please review the two enclosed patent documents and prepare a table (no more than 1 page long) pointing out the differences between of the
claims of the x patent from the description of y patent.

The aim of both inventions is the same but each patent takes different ways to achieve it. Please compare and contrast how/what they do to achieve the aim of the invention and the differences thereto.]

Can someone sum up in layman terms what I am to do as its not very clear? I am pretty lost, I have wads of papers here, each patient article is about 25 pages.

    Thanks
