Anyone know where blades could be got for a Fransgard mower? I don't have a model number, but its the flat-bed disc mower that folds upright when travelling. It has about 7ft cut, maybe smaller

Also, anyone know where I can get the metal disc for the outside edge that knocks the cut grass back in behind the mower?

Where in the country are you?
A lot of local co-ops stock universal blades for various types of rotary mower and disc mower.

I don't know where you would get the grass board - perhaps try a main dealer.

    I'm in the Midlands.

Blades are sorted, but the bloody disk thingy is a nightmare. I've tried a few places around, including Abbey who sell Fransgard products, and they don't have any or know where to get some. I dunno of any Fransgard main dealers apart from them. Do you?

The grass board is a big disk thats on the end, and ya need it for mowing hoy/silage. Topping can be done without it.

Kenneth Boohan in Croom, Co. Limerick also sells Fransgard stuff and is generally very knowledgable about machinery. Might be a bit far away, but it's an alternative if you can't get one near you.
