Im trying to get a new poker club up and running!! I was wondering does anyone have any advise or tips for me??? Anything you's did when yous were setting up your own poker club??? Any advise and tips would be greatly appriciaated!!! :P

as already stated...location. Try and start a game somewhere that doesn't already have much poker. And slowly work hard at building up a player base.

hi lady mavrick, if you want 2 pop down 2 my poker club someday and have a look around u might get some ideas from that, or just have a chat, i,m doing poker tournaments over 5 years i might know a thing or 2, i would be glad 2 help u in any way

Ive just opened up in monaghan town a month ago, 10 poker tables, pool table, relaxing/reading zone, smoking room, internet room, Sky tv, complimentary drinks. What more could you want. Customer's.
Ive tried so hard to get players in and it's taking a bit longer than i thought . But gradually a few more different faces are appearing along with the 7 or 8 reg,s. You need to get out there to as many pub games and tourney's with flyers and get posters up all over the place. ask people for their number and start txting them and most of all you will need a hell of a lot of patience for those nights that you advertise that 1 game that you think everyone will be in for and alas nobody turns up, It's gut wrenching but I believe if you stick with it they will come eventually.

well hopefully i get a good few players i know quite alot so if i can persade them with my fluttering eyes to come and play and see what got offers im bringing to the tournys they'll come more regular..:D
