iPhone V3 - Activation Server Down

    It seems that the activation servers are overloaded, I keep getting a temporary unavailable error.

    Anyone else?

    Well what do you expect? :D

    There are 40 million-odd iPhone/iPod Touches out there.

    Even if a quarter of them decide to update, that's still 10 million hammering the servers.

    Go figure. :)

    Its been down for me for over an hour now. No excuses, they should have staggered the upgrade if this was expected to happen.

    having the same issue, read on another thread to reboot your pc/mac and that should sort it but not yet.

    I just disconnected/reconnected the phone and it eventually went through.

    I've restarted both the phone and the PC, and reconnected several times never mind just normal re-trying. Still nothing. Irritating.

    Power ff your iphone while still disconnected to itunes and then reboot the iphone

    that has worked for me

    countdown to 3.0

    Got mine working through persistant retrying.

    Installed, activated and up and running now. Yay.

    It eventually worked for me too.

    Im completely under whelmed by the upgrade tho tbh.
