On Sunday Longford Nitro Club held a very successful first event with drivers from around the country making the trip to Longford. The racing attracted a lot of interest with locals and one thing that came to light on the day was that there are plenty of r/c car owners in the surrounding area. The event was the club's first step towards its goal of developing a permanent r/c facility in the area and all going well r/c fans will soon have a place to enjoy their cars with fellow r/c enthusiasts.
