Hi. I am looking for advice on a 2nd hand tractor. I am a newly part time suckler farmer and I want to buy a tractor that will make my life easier in relation to feeding cattle, shaking manure slurry spreading etc.
I want a machine with 90 to 100 hp 4wd with loader, that will usually start every morning, work when I want it to and last for years once properly looked after (A FARMERS TRACTOR). My price range is 15,000 to 18,000 euro.

All advice on make, models, price much appreciated

I'd go for a Renault (Claas if the budget allows) Ceres or Celtis. The Celtis is a mighty little machine and they have John Deere engines.

i'd reccomend a nh ts110 nice tidy tractor easy enough to look after as well although it is a 4 cyl turbo ,but in general check that what ever tractor u buy make sure it fits in your sheds as rising them takes time,

Also agree with the TS-great tractor.

Theres actually a forum here on tractors and 4wd's so you might ask there where you might get one.

Heres a link to the forum

hi billy100, do a search for the british farming forum, they have a links sticky on there with loads of uk machinery dealers websites. you might need to register there to be able to see it though there is another website aswell but i cant think of it off the top of my head.i think its the uk version of the ftmta. Best of luck. Cm
