As per title - I'd need to get about 50 wedding invites, any idea where can I get some nice ones without spending too much?

    Thank you :)

Lots of people are making their own invitations. It's much cheaper and you'd be surprised with the results.
    Check out this thread.

A nod for PaperPassion where we got ours. The service was top notch and the invites, although not the cheapest in the range were good value - compared to what you see around for the same price. Hell, I've seen invites that look for all the world like mass-cards ... for 4 euro a pop.

Steer clear of gold/silver banding and that'll help keep costs down. An invite with a nice layout and clean font will look as classy as something dripping gilted gold.

Wedding invitations take a lot of time to make, hence why they are so expensive. Even though you only want a small number made the same effort has to go into to setting up the machines etc as if they had to print hundreds. With such a small amount to make I would look into to making them yourself. Go to a nice art and craft shop and have a look at the different pieces you can get. You'll be amazed at what you yourself will be able to achieve.

    Try these http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&item=110393680351

Cheap, good quality and they print whatever you need on them. Very good for a budget....

    We're getting ours from www.einvite.com

We've already got our Save the Date cards from them, and also invitation samples to help us choose.

We got ours from Special Day Direct in the UK. Quick delivery and they called to go through the proof with us. Invites arrived perfect (with a few extra thrown in for good measure) in a few days.

We tried so many places but found that most of them look too home made (no offence to anyone who made their own) but we wanted the invites to look the part.

Its worth checking the ones in the UK out at the moment to take advantage of the conversion rates.

We were also able to get the same paper for the mass booklets.

I got mine in Easons, they have some lovely designs and are great value, got my matching thank you cards in there too.

I ordered a few samples from vist*print but when they arrived I wasn't happy with the quality. I popped into a few print shops in town and the prices they quoted me were ridiculous and i didn't even like the invites 400e min. In the end i went to a print shop beside the university, used to be called i-supply think its called digi-print or something like that now. They were so helpful and reasonable, to design the invite there charged €30 and then €50 to print. so if you have a design u can get them for as little as 50. I had them copy a design i liked and change a few things here and there and am really delighted with how helpful and accomodating they were. It pays to shop around and avoid the standard wedding providers. If your not in galway try and find a cheap print shop, get a quote for party invites and then change it to wedding at last minute - its the same cost for them whichever the cards are for but amazingly they'll try to charge more if they hear the word wedding - they assume u want all the bells and whistles on them for wedding invites when all u need is some half decent paper with a pretty design/picture

Used www.paper-republic.com and cannot recommend them enough, reasonably priced and a few options as regards assembly or fully made for you so price is flexible.
