Ive had swimmers ear pretty bad the last week, and finish up the antibiotics tomorrow. As a result Ive got no training done this week, but will get a jog in today, and a cycle tomorrow, and something on Friday to freshen me up. The doc said I should be fine for the race, but I was wondering if anyone has raced this soon after a similar infection and how it affected their performance.

I was on anitbiotics up until the day of the Kilcock tri and it didn't affect me much.

Had a chest infection in the week leading up to TriAthy and was on antibiotics for it. I was below par on the day, just didn't have the legs or the lungs to push for what I wanted.
