At the weekend it was to be selected on Tuesday evening, then in recent days it was to be selected on Wednesday & announced lunchtime today

    Now Thursday ?

The post-match interviewer on SKY yesteday made a number of references to the team being announced today.

Some journalist will get info on certain positions i reckon from watching them train. McGeegan is really keeping SA waiting, they won't have any tape of this team together before the first test.

I still think the test team is picked in SA and everyone elses minds apart from the positions 4,10 and 11. IMO the test team on form should be:
jenkins, mears, vickery, doc, poc, croft, wallace, heaslip, philips, o gara, fitzgerald, roberts, o driscoll, bowe , byrne.
Still geech will probably go for AW Jones and S Jones at 10 and possibly Monye at 11. Who knows?

The press conference is due to kick off at 1pm SA time tomorrow, which is 12pm Irish time.

The training sessions are closed save 15 mins at the beginning, so I don't think anyone will be given a look in there!

Maybe they need time to film new versions of those lame inserts that SKY use for the teamsheet :D ? What was so wrong with a list of names ?

They are painful to watch and they take ages as well.
    "Gethin Jenkins, Prop" *folds arms*
For some reason I thought the test team would announced today, probably better to keep it late though

I dont mind them even if Keith Earls sounds like a 10 year old.

    Ireland is -1 hour.

It's 18:00 in Ireland, 19:00 in South Africa.
