I just finished Season 4 (what a show by the way one of my all time favourites) but after a whole season of watching Snoop and Chris take people out i thought 'she' was a bloke!
It was only after i was reading a episode summary and they kept referring to Snoop as a she that i copped on...

Am i the only one???

Did you know that Felicia "Snoop" Pearson's real name is "Felicia Pearson"?
She grew up on the Baltimore streets and ended up in prison before turning her life around.

Do not read below if you have not seen Season 5!!
The only real feminine moment I recall is the very end, just before Michael kills her, she asks if her hair looks good

I've just started watching season 4 for the first time and in the very first ep when Lester pin's Snoop's photo on the board, you can see her name "Felicia" written underneath. You'd have to be pretty quick to spot it though.
I can understand why some people thought "she" was a "he", if I hadn't read this before I would have though the same.

Season 3. Marlo is in his pigeon coop. He asks Snoop to take care of something and refers to her as girl.

That something is a shooting where Snoop, wearing pink, as a motorcycle pillion passenger, lights up a corner and kills someone.

This is one of the details I saw upon re-watching all of the series. I highly recommend doing so after you have seen all 5 series once.

I just finished watching the whole 5 seasons. I have to say the producer couldn't have done a better job on this show, you will not see anything like this again for a long time or ever. as it's about real life in baltimore maryland. every actor in this was superb and had a unique edge. now snoop (Felicia Pearson) and (chris) done a great job in escalating the show to a more darker side which was really good. by the way I tought she was a guy for a minute when i seen her first time but i knew she was a she a bit later. this woman came from the darkest side of baltimore and grew up in the drugs trade and is a crack baby as she say's herself. but i have to say she's one tough woman to have made it this far. I think i'll read her book, grace after midnight. if i can find it. all in all the best show i have seen in a long time on the idiotbox
