    Hi all,
I'm an American 15 handicap who has just moved to Northern Dublin and am looking for some highly recommended teachers to help improve my game. Quality and professionalism are my concerns more so than price. Hopefully this topic hasn't been addressed in a while; I searched 5 or 6 pages but couldn't find much help.

A decent place to find some good music and a drink wouldn't hurt either.
    Thanks, TS

    Hi and welcome.

Unfortunately I can't help you with the lessons as I have no experience.

There are a few driving ranges around.....Portmarnock, or the one beside the Coachmans near the airport.

Or try some of the clubs.......I play at Skerries so maybe try there.

Somewhere to drink and to listen to music......try Malahide or go into Dublin Templebar.

Hi there, I would personally recomment Nigel Howley in Balbriggan Golf Club. I dropped from 11 to 6 with his help. He also has a state of the art indoor facility for video analysis.

Finishing up my 5th lesson with Karl Herbert in the Kinsealy driving range in portmarnock. Very professional and has helped me drop 2 shots since mid April. Buy 4 lessons and the 5th is free which is good too

Thanks for the tips fellows. I'll probably look into Balbriggan first seeing that its the closest to me. Anymore opinions would be great.
