Bussing it to Dublin

Hi, I'm thinking about working in the city centre, which will be a culture shock for me, but may have no choice.

I will need to get a bus from Trim, but will also need to leave the car near the bus stop. Does anyone have any tips on where to leave the car? I know there's a public car park on the Athboy road, but it's €2 a day which I don't think is fair. Does anyone leave their car in the Lidl car park, and is it permitted?

Also, is there an annual ticket you can purchase for the regional Trim-Dublin service?

Any tips/advice would be much appreciated.
