pubs near slane castle +transport from slane

    Does anyone know is there any pubs near slane castle or any villages nearby that have pubs does anybody know is there shuttle busses from slane castle

    Hi - we're in the same boat

    staying in Trim but hoping to go into slane early on sat
    watch the match then head into gig

    I looked up golden pages and found these pubs but dunno where they are

    Don't want to spoil your party boys/girls but the couple pubs that are in slane are usually WEDGED so hoping to see the match in these might be difficult or not be worth the effort, probably better off to concentrate on the gig and the occasion that goes with that.

    Hopefully the big screens will relay some of it for you but that will probably only happen (if it does) between acts when they are setting up the stage etc. Remember that mobile networks can usually be quite jammed for Slane weekends with the numbers there so get someone reliable to keep you up-to-date by sending you messages instead of you trying to ring or text for updates. At least this way you won't be too frustrated. Enjoy the gig.
