Kildare station to punchestown

How far and how do you get to punchestown from train station ? I`m in Killkenny for weekend and I`m trying to get to concert next week . Any help & tips please.

It depends how much you want to spend. A taxi from Kildare will probably be steep enough but trying ringing the local office to see (Kildare Cabs - 045 530814). You could also get the train to Sallins instead. It's closer to the racecourse, though still a bit of a trek, and you'll still have to change trains in Kildare.

Train to sallins-->rapid town link bus to Naas--> free festival shuttle bus to Punchestown(if its oxegen your talking about, not sure if there running shuttle bus for ac/dc, if not it'd be a half hour walk or thereabouts.

Bus Eireann from Kilkenny to Naas or Kavanaghs private bus. Then feeder bus or taxi to Punchestown.
