Netbook, PDA or Smartphone?

    Hi,

    Just looking for some advice.

My job involves me going to people's homes/business taking measurements and giving a quote for products required.

At the moment doing this with old fashioned pen and pad. This creates a problem in that I have the details with me at all times and there is no record in our shop, so if a customer rings with a query there are no details in the shop.

Of course I could just key the details onto shop computer bit that is very time consuming.
So I want a device, where I can input details into a spreadsheet or database program that can be loaded into MS office on computer shop.
So, I've been thinking of getting either a netbook or a smart phone.

With vodafone, and can't change so i-phone is not an option.

Is there a smartphone (not BB storm) that would allow me to easily input info a spreadsheet/Database file and easy transfer to a computer, or would I be better off with netbook or even a PDA?

    Thanks.
