Travel to Waterford from Galway??

    Does anyone know if Aer Arann are still doing flights to Waterford?
    Have a hen party there this Sat
    Otherwise is Bus Eireann my only option??

    Can't see it on www.aerarann.com so I doubt it.

    That's going to be a horrible bus journey.

    They were doing them up until recently anyways. Id say within the last month perhaps.

    My girlfriends mother flew up for a weekend in May I think... shame if its gone now.

    You can get the train.

    Obviously it involves a changeover at Kildare or Portarlington or somewhere.

    Just go on to irishrail.ie and put in Galway to Waterford and you'll see. The times work out ok actually. Better than a bus anyway.

    Done this by train last year, change in Kildare, times are actually not too bad, just try and make sure you do not travel on a Friday as the Dub - Waterford trains are wedged.....

    i have done the bus trip a lot.. hate it with a passion... but sometimes if you get an early bus you can get a the connection pretty much straight away rather than a later one where you could eb waiting an hour or so in limerick :eek:
