    Hi,

I have booked a Maylasian Airways flight from Heathrow to Melbourne departing at 12.00 on Tuesday 23/06/09. (Terminal 3)

My connection is from Shannon arriging in (Terminal 1) Heathrow at 10:15.

I am suspecting I am very tight on time and am wondering if I will make the connection. I booked the flughts seperate and as a result bag transfer is my responsibility.

I am considerinig bringing hand luggage only to Melbourne as I think waiting to collect the bag will use time I dont have.

    Any thoughts or advice ?

    Regards

    Irishman2009

Thoughts? You're cutting it way too fine. If your flight from Shannon is delayed then you're fecked.

With handluggage only, you may make it.

Malaysian have online checkin. Check that it's available for your flight - if so, with hand baggage and boarding pass in hand to go straight through security you might just make it. Really though, I'd have spent a few bob on a night in Heathrow.

were booked on that flight in oct the 12noon to k.l , what we decided was fly from dub ,but the night b4 were flying up to dublin from galway, ive kids so its important to me that i can check our luggage straight through to k.l. Also there was always the the risk the flight outa shannon would be delayed or we end up circling above heathrow which has happened me countless times down the years. I couldnt be dealing with the stress:D

Sensible choice, I think. Enjoy the trip!
