For those interested in the developments in Iran over the past few days, this is becoming a very important week for Iranians and the internet as a orgisonational tool.

BBC and main stream media are heavy restricted on what they can see, but this page http://iran.twazzup.com/ combines twitter updates from within iran and about it in real time, the tags #iranelection and #gr88 are the main ones to watch.

although there is alot of trash sucked up in to the stream there are some the likes of "در ميدان آزادي احتياج طبیب Medics needed in Azadi Square. #iranelection #gr88 URGENT! #iranelection #gr88" which i saw appear in the mix as it happened.. compelling stuff...

and flickr is filled with photostreams such as http://www.flickr.com/photos/fhashemi/sets/72157619758530748/ mostly using the #iranelection tag

Any other sources please share them

lets hope for good or bad this gets settled without anymore body's

yer probably on to something there alright, ive seen tweets like
"RT, don't let ambulances carry injured, they’ll take them to rev. guard’s hospital #Iranelection" and to the effect of "dont trust anyone who has been on twitter since X date" and that jazz,

think its best to keep the tinfoil hats on good and tight till the dust settles on what ever happens

There are so many things wrong with the logic displayed in that post it's hard to take it seriously.

CIA have done this before and are open about doing it again.

"Late last year, Congress agreed to a request from President Bush to fund a major escalation of covert operations against Iran, according to current and former military, intelligence, and congressional sources. These operations, for which the President sought up to four hundred million dollars, were described in a Presidential Finding signed by Bush, and are designed to destabilize the country’s religious leadership.
    ...
“The Finding was focussed on undermining Iran’s nuclear ambitions and trying to undermine the government through regime change,” a person familiar with its contents said, and involved “working with opposition groups and passing money.”

I thought Israel was behind the whole thing?

I didn't say the CIA, or Mossad for that matter, weren't trying to undermine Iran covertly I said the linked blog post comes to the conclusion that they're behind certain Twitter accounts via some very fuzzy logic.
