Golf Day - Sunday 28th June

Hi Lads,

I've organised a slot in the K Club Palmer course for Sunday the 28th.

Green Fee is 80.
I got first prize sponsored - a midweek break in
The Killerig Resort Hotel & Golf Resort, for 2 - thank you to them

Format is singles stableford. (Honest handicaps only)

Tee time is 1.10 - 1.40, only half an hour, approx 20 golfers.

Was bang up for this until i realised the date clashed with a big club competition, all the best with it. Would go on other outings

Day of the club championship in my home course but i'm off 10 and need to be off 9 to play. Hmmm can i put my name down and pull out on Monday if i get cut?... I doubt i'll be getting cut so i should be good for it

This sounds really interesting.. alas im going to ACDC that evening. I doubt too many others would be doing the round of Golf in the k-Club followed by AC/DC combo (better keep it quiet) ! How far is it from there to Punchestown

Also, as im not affiliated to any club at the moment i do not have a GUI handicap - would that rule me out. I play off 18 - but glad to forego any prizes just to get out.

Excellent two nice Sundays in a row:D playing Mountwolsey in an Inter Scratch this Sunday, although don't know how the swing will be after slane on Saturday

Hi Lads,

Many thanks for coming along - from the 30 golfers we had out there were 10 from Boards. The highest score on the day was 38. (P Brady - playing off 5!) Which was great shooting.

The highest boards scorer is Jason Mooney - 36 points playing off 12. Great scoring too. Jason can come along to the next outing for free!

I'll keep you posted on the next day out.
