Stag in Derry

Hi all,
Heading to Derry for Stag next weekend ..just wondering what pubs you'd recommend in the city ?
Age group are all around 29-30ish. Also any good resturants too that would cater for large groups (10-15).

For restaurants.. well Martha's Vineyard at the Bowling Alley is very reasonable:

The Mandarin Palace is a short walk from the Metro/Downey's. From Martha's Vineyard, you'd have to get a taxi but it's very reasonable and easy to get(about £3.50 - £4 for a taxi into the town).

Most restaurants in Derry will do large bookings given a couple of days notice.

All good pubs are within walking distance in the city centre.All highly recommended for a night out. For somewhere cheap & cheerful to start off - try The Ice Wharf on the Strand Road (belongs to Weatherspoons Group) they have another branch in the Diamond at the top of the town.Also good is Downeys on Shipquay Street or the metro as previously mentioned.You'll not go far wrong where ever you end up!!For clubs theres Sugar on Shipquay Street or Earth further down on the Strand Road (Towards the University)..

Wow what a weekend !!!
Managed to make it to all the places mentioned above and more lol.
Brilliant nights out Friday and Saturday especially in Earth on Saturday night.
I must say Derry is a great spot for a long weekend , the drink is so cheap and has some very friendly ladies too

Derry is a brilliant city, I'm a Dub and couldnt recomend it highly enough, and the people are deadly crack.
