I was buying pair of shoes last week. Went to Murrays Shoes in Dominick street Galway and they were selling a pair of shoes I liked for 90 euro. Said I go to Logues in Williams Gate Street to see what they had before deciding. The exact same shoes were selling in Logues for 20 euro less! It really pays to shop around. I have no affiliation with either store.

at last, someone using this forum for what it's supposed to be used for, rather than the usual "I can go to another country and get something 10% cheaper"

the cost of shoes in ireland is ridiculous, i can understand where you are coming from. its not just the rip off prices, its the lack of choice and quality. waiting until i go on holiday to buy mine.

Strange - I always found Murrays to be the cheapest, and the nicest quality (they have some really nice shoes there! I love that shop!). But I shall check Logues out as well from now on!
