Hotpoint Dishwasher leaking

    Hey folks,

    I have a hotpoint dishwasher and over the last year it would leak some water at the bottom of the door when running. Sometimes, even some foam would come out.

    In the last few weeks, it has started to leak after every time its used.

    When the cycle is finished, there is no water left in the bottom of the tray.

    Any ideas?

    Just had a service on ours and raised same query with engineer. He couldn't find any fault but reckons it could be down to using 3-1 tablets and rinse aid at the same time. As the table also contains rinse aid it creates too many suds for the machine to cope with.

    we'll see...

    is it an integrated or free standing dishwasher?

    if its freestanding then what the engineer said would be correct as only other prob could be seal but assume he checked that ok.

    to the OP if its an integrated dishwasher you have, first place to check would be the dooor springs. these are adjusted to the weight of the facia door but over time start to loosen a bit. re-tightening the bolt at the top of each side of the door (you'll see an allen key hole) will more than like;y make the seal flush again and sort your leaky door prob.
