Hey everyone, just wondering if anyone knows if it's still possible to drop out now?! I emailed my tutor about a fortnight ago and he never got back to me.
I didn't sit the exams, but apparently they still had my name listed on the seating chart thing, but will they consider me gone seeing as how I never showed up?

You'll have to hand in a 'withdrawl from college' form. (avaliable online)

You will then have to see your tutor (or the senior tutor) in person, who illl assist you in filling out the form.

You will be liable for full fees for next year.

How come? He didn't sit the exams. You have to pass them to get in to the next year - I assume you dont have to pay for the next year if you don't get in?

If s/he comes back to college s/he will have to pay fees since s/he spent the whole year as a registered student and indicated to the government s/he would sit exams back in Jan.

Thanks for the replies, I already know about all the fees, I'm grand on that, it's just the actual process of officially telling college I've left?
Like I said, tried emailing my tutor but I can't get any response? I've got the form and filled it out and that, can I just send it straight to the records office of something?

Email the Senior Tutor if you can't get a hold of your tutor.

I tried this, but since I already sat my final exams it's not really an option...
