Nikon's prices have gone down in Germany

this week I could find the D700 some 150 euro better off than last week almost everywhere (and some 400 euro cheaper than dublin)

do you know of a decent site I can trust?
I've found dozens but know no one, I'd like a recommendation of one that has been used and proven to be OK

Have you worked out how much it would cost you to drive up North and buy from Jessops or Calumet? Worked out the cheapest for me last year when I bought my D700.

yes, rate for the STG not as convenient as then
prices in UK also went up since you bought it
calumet has the best price, but jessops will price match
price up north is 1765 stg (nearly 2100 euro, €1820 ex vat)
price in dublin is €2300 (€1890 ex vat)

prices in Germany are 1940 incl 19% VAT (€1630 ex vat)

hard to beat, isn't it?

My late 2008 purchases of a D3 and 24-70mm for under €4k (Calumet) still give me a warm fuzzy

Foto Koch are usually good, I've ordered off them before. 2039 quid for the D700 body. Plus 19,95 € for delivery cost...
