Godirect.ie anyone?

Hi,
My general question is: have any of you used an "agent" such as these to source a used car for you?

Personally, I hate cars (sorry, car buffs). I know nothing about them, other than they're expensive to buy and run and I can't live without one.

I know in my heart of hearts that there must be bargains out there, but I'm never going to get one (a bargain) from a Main Dealer, and I don't have the know-how to go to an auction myself.

So if anyone has any feedback about the particular crew in the title or any other similar outfit I'd appreciate it.

I did do a search in this forum. but surprisingly got no hits on "godirect". I saw an ad for them in 'Auto Trader' I think.

I don't understand what they do. Are they importers, or just a re-branded exisiting dealership?

What is it that you want these guys to do for you OP?

Fair point, the website doesn't say much. The ad said more.

What I'm looking for is someone who will take the spec that I need, and go off and source a car for me, whether locally, in the North, Britain, wherever.

The deal would be commission-based for them, and they would provide the independent checks etc.

Know anyone who provides this kind of service?

most independant second hand car dealers will do this for you, pick a local one that people trust and they will do this to get the sale.
