    ot sure if this is quite the right forum.i have hooked up onboard sound (nvivdia force tm) to a logitech 2.1 speaker setup(x-140 or 240? 25w rms).just wondering would there be any gain if i fit a soundblaster pci card .i have a live card and an audigy or is there little to be gained thanks

    generally you should achieve better sound quality from a dedicated sound card than onboard, at least in my experience the on boards tend to suffer from alot of noise
